Meet Our Friends

During the lead up to our final gig of the year at Band On The Wall, we are going to feature each of the bands playing on the night here on iamamood.com.

To kick things off here is a little bit about a brilliant act known as 'Pleasures'

Pleasures are a 4-piece punk/indie band based in Manchester. The members all met at a young age and have continued playing music together ever since. The lyric writer and lead singer of the band : Sonny Royle takes inspiration from bands such as The Stooges, The Ramones and Cabbage etc , combined with a Hendrix style of guitar playing from Barney Anderson ,filled with effects giving him his unique playing style , accompanied by Alec Waters on bass using a grimey bass sound to his advantage with unforgetable bass riffs locking in with the drum kit playing of Miles Pillinger.
